ACT Tutoring

There are only few tutoring centers in the Gulf Stream that offers ACT tutoring, whichever your preference may be; private tutoring or group tutoring, we have options for all. The ACT exam is one of the most important exams for many who wish to continue to tertiary institutions. Our tutors are qualified to assist our students in preparation for the day they take the exam. We have worked with hundreds of students and not one of them was concerned about reaching their target score with our help. Being unprepared results in fear of achieving the score they want, we encourage confidence and fearlessness in our students learning.

Types of ACT Tutoring

We offer group ACT tutoring at our company, many students opt for this option, as they build up their confidence in class when working with peers and overcoming the exam challenges together. We aim to assist with individual learning problems, however group tutoring doesn’t allow for much one on one time for our students. For the student who needs a little more attention and focus we offer private tutoring, where you are the sole attention in the class, this allows for one on one lessons and attention to detail. You have more time to focus on your problem areas and focus on improving those.

Writing the Exam

Each student will eventually write their ACT exam, it is up to us to have our students prepared for the day of the exam. The exams are written at different testing centers externally from the tutor center. Our job is to prepare our students for their exam day, and guarantee our students with our help that they will achieve the score they need. We aim to have our students write their exam once and achieve their score. Our tutoring methods have benefited our students in manners that contribute towards their confidence in the exam room. On the day of the exam, it is up to the student to ensure they are present to complete their exam.

Pre Exam Preparation

All of our enrolled students being tutored by us whether they are in private tutoring or group tutoring will be equipped for their exam date. All our students are prepared for their exam, from understanding the questions and knowing what it expected of the exam. Our students are aware of why they are taking the exam; this is why we do practice tests with our students for them to experience the exam in the testing centers and the experience when they are in the exam room. We educate our students on time management, best stress management methods and how to optimize their time in each section.

Difference between ACT and SAT

All students who enroll for the ACT or the SAT exam understand that the difference between the ACT and the SAT exam is that the ACT exam has a science section whereas the SAT exam only has English and math. Students are encouraged to certify the specific exam they are expected to take. Each university requires different exams and scores for the various qualifications available to study. We advise our students on the best exam required for their field of study they wish to explore, however we advise our students to confirm with their preferred university which exam to take and the score to obtain.
